Personics A/S is a danish company, which develops advanced training systems for sense and motion training.
Our systems and technologies have been developed to support a wide range of training needs and to give therapists and patients a new set of options to turn the training into an experience with pictures, sounds and motivating personal feedback.
Aside from developing and providing a standardized range of products, it is also an integrated part of our business strategy to develop the products in close co-operation with our customers. Furthermore we provide services to build specific installations and training situations aimed at special circumstances.
The Personics systems are based on a practice-oriented need to create more exciting and challenging training enviroments, which can improve the effect of the rehabilitation effort.
Our mission is to create experiences and personal feedback, which motivates to an extra effort in training senses and motion.
As an example our training system for rehabilitation of a hip operations.
In the picture the patient is carrying out a balance exercise standing on a balance board. The task is to control a glass balancing on a waiters tray. Through the exercise the patient trains his balance motor function and cognitive abilities to translate an audiovisuel experience into a physical motion. It has indicated both to be motivating and improve the effect of the training.
The users motions are registered by non-touch sensors and translated into a feedback of sounds and pictures.
In doing so boring training routines can be replaced by challenging games, where the users movements controls the actions.
